Jane's Yummy Avocado Dressing
Warning! This salad dressing will make you crave a daily salad. Luckily, this is a great thing to eat daily. In fact, having a daily salad is Jane's Healthy Habit #21
"If you are alive and can read and think for yourself then you know this one. You know that eating a wide range of colorful vegetables and fruits can give you vibrant health and longevity. Unless you are allergic or super sensitive to a vegetable, you should be eating the rainbow."Â
Although we know veggies are important to our health and vitality, it can be hard to get them in. Eating a daily salad is easier with the right dressing. This is Jane's recipe and it is yummy, versatile and easy to make.
Yummy Avocado Salad Dressing
Prep time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
- 1 avocado, mashed
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend for about 10-15 seconds. The avocado will make it thicken quickly so I always make a small, one meal use of this recipe.Â
