Chanca Piedra in our traditional, concentrated tincture. This herb is well known for it's ability to break up kidney stones and gallstones. It is literally known as the "stone breaker."
Kidney stones are the build up of mineral and salt deposits in the kidneys and urinary track.
Chanca Piedra is well known for protecting the liver by decreasing the enzymes linked to liver damage, increasing antioxidant enzymes and lowering oxidative stress and inflammation.
Chanca Piedra grows in tropical regions all over the world from China to India and also in the unexplored areas of the Amazon rain forest.
In Ayurveda, Chanca Piedra has been used for thousands of years for many different ailments such as jaundice, malaria, diabetes, digestive issues, urinary tract infections and skin diseases.
Chanca Piedra has been shown to fight viruses, bacteria and free radicals. And the tannins it contains also help prevent cancer.
Suggested use of Chanca Piedra to dissolve kidney stones:
30 drops 3 times a day in water 30 minutes prior to meals or 2 hours
after a meal. You can increase this to 5 times a day if necessary.
The goal is consistency.
Suggested use for prevention of kidney stones:
30 drops once a day prior to a meal until bottle is gone
(once a year if you are not prone to kidney stones or once a quarter if you are)
Pregnant women or women using fertility enhancing drugs should not use Chanca Piedra.
