This is our very first salve and we've been making it for literally decades! The one developed by Max Barlow. All of us here at Barlow Herbal have used this salve for many years prior to our natural salves coming out.
All of our salves have Lomatium in them but this is the only one with a petroleum jelly base. Believe it or not, petroleum jelly can have it's place in your home!
Preparedness Balm is a topical skin salve used for treating any type of skin wounds, skin infections, rashes or dry cracked skin. Golden Salve is LDM-100 (Lomatium dissectum) in a petroleum jelly base. Used for cuts, scrapes, spider bites and infected skin wounds. This is a great option for deep, infected skin wounds that need a waterproof base. This product also has a very long shelf life and is great for your Emergency Essential Kits.
