Suma root is an adaptogen. It has many properties including hormone support, cell oxygenation, inhibiting tumor growth, lowering cholesterol and balancing body chemistry.
Chinese Astragalushas a very long history as an immune system booster and disease fighter. Its roots are in Traditional Chinese Medicine, in which it’s been used as an adaptogen for thousands of years, helping the body fight off stress and disease. It also slows or prevents the growth of tumors and protects the cardiovascular system.
Chaparral is a powerful blood cleanser and cancer fighter. It helps speed recovery from colds and flu and relieves urinary and respiratory infections. Chaparral also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
The Suma root in our East Star formula has ability to affect hormone production meaning that it should be avoided by anyone with a known history of diseases involving hormonal dysregulation. Consider adding Pau ‘d Arco in it’s place.
